Lust Have It June 2014 Review

Finally the postie decided to stop and deliver my June LHI Pack on July the 1st which means no more peeping through the window to see if LHI is here or not thank god for that,,,

But on the other side it's late which is a usual thing for LHI to be late and the contents in the pack don't makeup to that either.See it yourself,,,

LHI is back to the new packaging by the way and once again it's a nice little pink pouch but what really matters to me is what's inside the pouch,,,

Teez Trendy Cosmetics Easy On Eyes Pencil

Full size product in the pouch is this waterproof eye liner,I swatched it and it's really soft and seems easy to glide on but I don't really think it's waterproof  I only rubbed it twice and it came off straightaway.Anyway else noticed that?

John Plunkett Glyco Peel

This is also a full size night-time exfoliator with 25% glycol acid in a buffered solution I'm not really sure about this product so I'll wait and see what to do with it.

Laroche Posay Effaclar Duo

I got this in BB this month and I already have a full size product of this duo however this sample is way too small if I did not had a full size one already this would have been too small to see if it does what it says or not.

Orly Nail File & Toe Separator

Cheap products that can be purchased from supermarket and I'm not happy with these being in the pouch at all.

Nuxe Creame Nirvanesque & Eye Contour

2ml x 2 sachets I got them in VB and nothing annoys me more than seeing same stuff over and over and no I don't like sachet samples.A while back Priceline gave me about 6 sachets of these when I spent quite a fair bit of money there so I don't really need these.

Hello Fresh $30 voucher

Someone please remind LHI that it's not a food box it's a beauty box so don't thrown in these kind of vouchers in there and No I'm not using it if someone wants it let me know.

Overall, I'm completely annoyed with this months box being late and the contents of the pouch have been thrown in without any consideration well that's what it looks like and I'm glad that I have unsubscribed from LHI and all other boxes for now.

Have you received your LHI? What do you think of it?

Morning Skin Care Routine

Hey Beauties,

Hope you are all well and enjoyed your weekend.Today I'm sharing my current skin care morning routine with you guys.My routine involves quite a few steps and is a bit different to my nightly routine.I don't stick with same products over and over and thats because I like to try different kind of products all the time.I would only stick with same product/s if it becomes my holy grail product otherwise I move on quite quickly.

These are the products currently working for me and I'm quite happy with them.I have a dry kind of a combo skin depending on the weather and my skin breaks out really quickly if its not happy with what I put on my face so I have to be very careful when it comes to adding new products to my daily routine.

Lush Let the Good Time Roll Cleanser

I did not like this when I first started using this product due to its funny chewy and dry texture but now I'm kinda addicted to it.I picked this up on my last trip to highpoint shopping centre and I have been using it for almost 5 weeks now to cleanse my face.I like Lush products they are cruelty free which I appreciate plus they are freshly handmade. This contains corn oil, polenta, maize flour and cinnamon and it absolutely smells like heaven.

St Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

I truly love this scrub and it has right texture and perfect size granules that are not too harsh for my sensitive skin.I only use it once a week as a heavy duty exfoliator only concentrating on my nose and forehead because the lush cleanser has maize that works as a exfoliator as well as cleanser.

 Nuganic Customize Pore Control Essence

This came in Memebox luckybox #1 and I'll be sad once its finished. This is best selling product in korea apparently and works really great if you have pore problems.I pat this clear gel on both sides of my nose and cheeks.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo

This product is on trial so I cant really say much about it.Its on expensive side and has cream consistency and lemony scent.

Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting serum

This is the second bottle and I'm almost done with it and I cant wait to try something else. When I first discovered my fine lines on my forehead I went completely crazy and back than I could not think of anything else than this serum from Olay.Since than I have been using it on and off and have seen slight change on my fine lines but nothing major. My mother in law also uses this and swear by this serum but unfortunately it has not done much work for me.

Dreams Come True Bounce Cheese Cream

Another product from Memebox #1 is on trial.I replace my much loved Loreal's day cream with it but this does not seem to be doing much I'll just wait and see how I go.

The Body Shop Shiso Eye Serum

This is my holy grail eye serum and I would go back to it over and over without any second thoughts.I had really bad and dark under eye circles and after trying so many creams and potions I finally settled down with this magic serum. It works great if you suffer from dark circles like I do.You can read my full review here.

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub

One word "Amazing".If you have not tried this lip scrub than you must. Its a must have lip scrub for dry/chapped lips this winter.

Thats all I use and like I said my skin plays up a lot and I treat her according to her needs and stick with the products that actually work for me.

What's your skin care routine? Do you use anything special?

Lip Balms/Butter's On Rotation

There is no way I see myself not wearing a lip balm anytime at this time of the year,This weather makes my lips look dry, flaky and utterly pale and thats when lip scrub and lip balm comes in to rescue my lips getting worse.I love lip balms/butter's but I tend to keep quite a few handy because I lose them very often.Till today I have never managed to finish a single lip balm Seriously HAVE YOU? I always get through 75 % of the tube and get rid off it...

Here are some of the lip products on duty this winter

Nivea Lip Butter In Caramel Cream & Vanilla Macadamia

Tell me if you love these bad boys as much as I do? I only use these at night and normally hang around my bed side table.I love how they moisturise my lips so well till next morning.Full review here.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Mixed Berry and Pink Lolita

Everyone knows about these girls and I think everyone must have at least one.I use these during the day and love them to bits I also swipe one of these under my lipstick for a smooth finish especially with matte lipsticks.Pink Lolita is tinted and on the other hand mixed berry smells like berries but is white in colour.

Covergirl Smoochies

Another tinted Lipstick lip balm in #sweet tweet does a great job and normally stays in my car along with my hand cream. This has a very fruity smell and does not stay on for a longer period of time but does gives you slightly tinted lips on No lipstick Days.

Bodysol SOS Lipstick Repair

This is the second tube I'm going through the the moment and I really like how it feels on my lips As soon as I put it on I feel instant chilling refreshness on my lips which none of the other lip products do it.it also has SPF which is a bonus.

Lucas Paw Paw Ointment

I have gone through so many tubes of this paw paw cream and it never lets me down.It even works for rash, burns, cuts, insect bites, cracked skin and so on...

New Addition

Yes to carrots in berry
Chapstick
Pinky pink made my me

Do you use any of these lip balms/butter? If not what do you use to keep you lips well moisturised?

My most favourite is Nivea's Lip butter in Vanilla & Macadamia

Availability Priceline except Bodysol

Cinnamon and Pistachio Cake Recipe

I have been doing lot of baking recently, for last couple of days I have made about 4 cakes and some muffins and my boys seems to love what I have baked so far.I have decided that from now on I'll share one recipe a week with you guys. This week it's Cinnamon and Pistachio cake.Sorry the picture is so crappy I made it when the sun went down and moon was staring through my kitchen window but it was so delicious that my hubby thought I bought it from a store ,,,No hubby dear I made it I said with teary eyes,,,Because it's not everyday I hear him saying he enjoyed the food I cooked...(sad face)

Things You Will Need

60g butter
1 cup self raising flour
4 teaspoons cinnamon sugar
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 egg
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
140g caster sugar
10-15 pistachios (chopped)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 175 degree fan forced.
2. Grease and line a medium size loaf pan.
3. Mix butter and caster sugar together in a bowl than add the rest of the ingredients except cinnamon powder and stir them well.
4. Transfer all the mixture to already greased loaf pan and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder all over on the mixture.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or check by inserting a skewer,if the skewer inserted comes out clean than your cake is ready.
6. Let it sit for about 5 minutes before transferring the cake to wire rack.
7. Enjoy it while it's warm with a cup of tea/coffee.

I'm not a perfect cook/baker by any means but this turned out pretty good without any errors.

My Hair Crisis

So a while back I bought a Hair package voucher from Scoopon for $49 to spend at Palz house of style in Thomastown I love these kind of deals because they do save you a lot of money like seriously normally if I want to have a hair cut, foils, treatment and blah blah blah it would cost me more than $200 without a joke now you might be wondering why?

Because I have long hair that don't stop growing and I need a hair cut pretty much every 6 to 12 weeks depending on split ends and the length...

Package included Cut+Treatment +Half head foils OR full colour OR Balayage +Dry +Facial +Massage

This time I bought the voucher because it was only 15 min drive away from my place so I made an appointment for monday this week and as soon as I dropped off YOYO at the Childcare I came home had a shower and off I went to spend around 4 hours at the hairdresser well in normal circumstances thats how long it take to get my hair done and dusted..

I was early as usual a typical army Kid who is always on time and as soon as I walked into the door a young girl sweeping the floor I said hello and told her why I was there, she asked me to wait and sit down than quickly she said come and have a seat and tell me what you want,,,I explained it really well and told her that I like long hair and would like to keep my length into V shape and also mentioned that she might just have to trim then nicely if they don't need too much fiddling around,I showed her the colour on my phone I wanted to put in my hair for balayage.

I also mentioned it twice that I wanted to set my fringe because it was quite long and I wanted to cut it to medium length and even it out and I explained to her that I wanted the rest of my hair go lighter colour. She said she knew how I wanted my hair to look like.

So she made a colour of her choice without showing me the colour book and started to put colour into my hair I asked "Is that for Balayage" She replied "yes, why and stopped and than said "what do you want?"

God no one has ever spoken to me like this ever,I already knew by than that this will be the worse hair treatment ever...

I said I just wanted to know if the colour was for balayage or the top section of my hair since she explained nothing to me what she was up to.

anyways she carried on and finished putting the colour and walked away than after approximately 40 minutes later she came back again,,checked and washed my hair as you would normally do at home at any busy day,No hair treatment or head massage was provided and we were back to the same place in no time. There was no one else at this stage which means she had plenty of time to go easy.

I did not wanted a facial and I told her already by now as facial was included in the deal too so that saved her some time as well as extra work.

back to the hair cut this time No questions were asked about how do I like to set my fringe so she could cut it that way?

while she was at cutting my fringe a women came along to say hello with her 2 kids so the hairdresser started to chat away and went to put the kettle on for this friend of hers.

when she came back she cut my fringe and rest of my hair without doing any partitions and I bet a 5 year old can do a good job except my youngest sister(her story later) and this hairdresser. She seemed to be in rush and in less than 10 minutes she was done cutting my hair and drying them at the same time and the results are here...

Small fringe

Long fringe

one fringe is bigger than the other Awesome...and the colour I hate the most

and she told me she was done and let me tell you the water was still dripping off my hair when I walked out of the salon...

Worse hair appointment I ever went to..and now I'm left with an uneven fringe and weird colour in my hair followed by a worse cut hair cut and length I'm not happy with...

Will I recommend this place : NEVER

Would you have said something if it was you at my place?

Priceline Haul

I went to priceline and instantly spotted this beautiful bag full of goodies and could not stop myself grabbing one straight away and you can tell why?? There are ridiculously hell lot of products in the bag so do expect a little giveaway soon...

You can clearly see that I could not fit everything in one picture so I had to divide them in two different pictures. The deal is that you spend $65 on skincare and get this bag valued at/over $340...

I spent about $75 and picked up three products that I wanted (not pictured here)...

The bag itself is just gorgeous and is made of good quality material...

Now to find a little place to store these yawn 😳...

Real Techniques Haul From Iherb

Real techniques brushes are not new at all to beauty bloggers and beauty addicts.I had my eyes onto them for a while now and the only thing that was holding me back was the limited availability of RT brushes at priceline and of course the price too.

Than I came across iherb an American company that stock RT at reasonable price so few weeks ago I decided to dive in and made my first non paypal purchase overseas (yes I hate to give my credit card details online).

I bought sam's pick box that is currently on discount containing six brushes at the prize of US $29.99 WoW.

Multi tasking brush
Buffing brush
Essential crease brush
Setting brush (available at priceline for $14.99)
Pointed foundation brush
Fine liner brush (available at priceline for $12.99)

Miracle complexion sponge US $6.00 iherb
Stippling brush US $10.00 (available at priceline for AU $22.99)

I paid AU $46.92 including shipping through DHL and the order came in 7 days without any hiccups.I'm really happy with my little purchase.

A little comparison between priceline and iherb if I had bought stippling brush, setting brush, fine liner brush it would have cost me $50.97 for 3 brushes from priceline over at iherb I got 6 brushes and a sponge including postage for $46.92.

Do you use RT products? Which one is your favourite?

Bellabox June 2014 Review

Hey Bella's

Today's post is a quick review on June Bellabox I won't go into too much details about each products due to most of the products being way too small. This months theme is Iconic Beauty. Here is what came in the box.

InStyle magazine $9.95 (Bonus)

Cedel Blow Dry Faster heat Protector 165 ml RRP $7.99
Full size

Herbal Essences Naked Shine Shampoo & Conditioner 300ml RRP $6.99 each
These are not my cup of tea I have used this brand in past and nothing is really exciting about these two.

Vos Give Me Moisture Hot Oil 4x 15 ml RRP $6.99
A 15 ml tube to be used as pre shampoo treatment not enough for darn long hair.

La - Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Luxe 40 ml RRP $27.99
I got 3ml tiny little tube and there is nothing much in the tube I first thought it was completely empty.

Nutrimetics Nutri Rich Instant Radiance Beauty Balm 50 ml RRP $50 (Bonus)
2 ml sachet again a tiny little sample been thrown into the box for no reason.

Thats all in June box if you look at the information card it seems like BB forgot to send my another full size Innoxa lip liner? I'm yet to contact BB regarding this.Overall, I'm quite disappointed with june box. There is not a single product in the box which i'm happy with and NO I don't consider magazine as a beauty product BB.All the samples are way too small and nothing's really appealing me from this box.

Have you got your BB? What are your thoughts onto this month's BB?

Home Remedies For Dry/Flaky Skin

I remember growing up every single time I complained about dry patches around my lips, my mum will pull out her most trusted tub of VASELINE and rub it on my dry patches and they will just disappear for the day and come back the following morning again.Till today as soon as winter arrives my skin starts to play up a lot I have dry skin and in winter time it gets worse especially those small dry patches around the lips just don't look pretty at all for a grown up women and thats when my face needs extra special services.I grew up around my six aunties and older cousins who always preferred putting home made face masks for these sorts of problem and till today I'm still using there recipes.

I personally like a combination of store bought and home made face packs so I thought I will share with you some of the home made packs I use to cure the dry flaky skin.

Yogurt Pack
Yogurt is something that is easily always available in anyone's fridge. All you need is a heaping teaspoon of plain yogurt and apply it on your face focusing on dry areas and patches.Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and wash it off with cold water and pat dry following by a good moisturiser.

Banana pack
Banana's are great for fresh and moist skin just mash 1 banana and add a teaspoon of honey and mix it together until it forms into a paste and leave it on your face for about 20-30 minutes and wash it off with cold water.

Honey pack
Honey is another ingredient that is available in everyone's home. This is my favourite face mask I use 2 tablespoon of organic honey and leave it on for 20-30 minutes and wash off with cold water. It's very sticky but is great in terms removing the dry patches away.

Almond pack
Soak few almonds before you go to bed and than turn them into a paste by grinding them.Add some gram flour and few teaspoons of milk, mix it well together and apply a generous layer all over your face.Leave it on until its dry and than wet your hands with luke warm water and scrub off the mask gently.Wash and admire your newly pampered face.

Olive Oil
Dab a small amount of olive oil on your dry skin areas/patches and leave it on overnight or leave it on for 15-20 minutes during the day.Wash it and pat dry.

Things To Avoid
Don't use hot water to wash your face it will strip off the natural oils of your skin leaving it looking stressed, flaky and dry.
Limit you face washing to twice a day morning and evening.
Drink plenty of water.

I switch between these face packs until my skin goes back to normal. My face has no issues with any of these face packs but I suggest to stick with one of these for a while if you decide to use these packs and see if it works for you or not.

Do you use home made face packs? What do you use to treat dry/flaky skin?

**Note:-I'm not an expert by any means these are the home remedies I use to treat my own dry skin and have never experienced any allergies or reactions while using these face packs.

Revlon Colorburst Matte & lacquer Blams Review

I admit it I'm at the front of the bandwagon when it comes to buying newly released products and at the same time I go and sit down at the back of the bandwagon when I want to do reviews on those new investments due to the lack of time I have on my two little hands.I purchased these two matte and lacquer balms as soon as they were available at Priceline and have been wearing them every now and than. These Matte and Lacquer Balms comes in 10 different shades.

My two picks are

L-lacquer balm,R-Matte balm

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer balm in Coy Timide 140
This crayon is soft in texture like built in lip balm in it. It's bit on a shimmery side and glides on to lips very easily for a smooth finish.

Revlon Colorburst Matte balm In Standout Remarquable 250
Super pigmented and matte lip crayon that does not need lip balm underneath which is very unusual for a matte lip product. Its very creamy and you won't need to sharpen it as it can be twisted up and down and contains peppermint smell.

Price $17.95
Available at Priceline in store or online here. Also available at Chemist Warehouse,Big W,Target.

Wen By Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Cleansing Conditioner Review

I have long, heavy,,thick wavy, curly, dry hair and nothing makes me more happy when I find a product that actually does a great job like Sweet almond Cleansing Conditioner From Wen by Chaz Dean.I received this 60 ml Sachet in my May BellaBox I initially thought it was a only a conditioner but later found out that I was all in one shampoo and conditioner.

source

"Sweet Almond Mint is enriched with nourishing herbs and natural ingredients designed to hydrate and replenish hair. May be used as often as necessary, it thoroughly cleanses hair and scalp without stripping them of their natural oils, providing it with added moisture, strength and sheen"

Instructions on the packaging says to Cleanse, rinse and repeat which I obviously could not considering how long my hair are.I only managed to get one wash out of this 60 ml sachet. The product did not lather up instead it felt like I was washing my hair with the normal conditioner but I was quite impressed after I rinsed my hair It left my hair looking partially straight, silky and smooth.I normally spend more than an hour to straight my hair but after using this cleansing conditioner I spent approximately 30 minutes which was impressing. It has very strong fragrance of mint that lingered around for at least 2 days.

Pro's
It works
Does not weigh hair down
Nice minty fragrance
Rich in texture

Con's
Long hair will need a lot of this product to rinse and rinse and rinse again.
Strong minty Fragrance can be an issue for some
If you buy from online here you will automatically be subscribed to a membership that you might not want to be part of.
Availability online only

This cleansing conditioner is also available in Summer Mango Coconut,Ginger Pumpkin,Lavender and pomegranate.

This product came with a voucher to be used at chaz dean's online store here when I was looking to buy it I realised there was a catch behind it which is the ongoing membership of $149.97 every 3 months + postage of $12.99 that can be cancelled anytime apparently but to be honest I don't like these kind of deals. It's very similar to pro active that they keep on deducting money every month and keep on sending you products.I love this product and will not mind spending money if it was available for one off sale and I can go back and re purchase it again when I need to.

I wont be purchasing this product until unless I find a source that sells it without signing me up to the membership. Also I don't feel secure about giving my banking details out for these kind of subscriptions I prefer Paypal and that's it.

Have you purchased anything from Chaz Dean's online store? Do let me know what your thoughts are.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Review

Hey guys,

Hope you are all well,,,Today I'm doing a quick review on YSL's Highlighter pen.I want to make one thing clear that this is not a concealer It's actually a pen that highlights the area of your face you want to be highlighted.

When It first came out I had a face make over done at YSL and this product was introduced to me as a concealer and I found out later on that this is only a highlighter tool not a concealer.I was quite disappointed and think The Sales Assistants should know or be given proper training about the new products in the market.

Packaging
Nice and very classy I don't mind Gold packaging So I'm cool with it.It comes with a little black tick tick pusher to release the product through the brush at the top.

Formula/Colour
As you can see it's very similar to any foundation colour. My shade is no 3 in light peach and is available in 6 shades all together. The formula is just right I do use the brush and sometimes I use my fingers to blend the product and either way it works great.

Price
$57

What I Think
Like I said its not a concealer and I only use it for highlighting the outer sides of my lips, cupid bow, nose, forehead, above and below my eyebrows as well as under my eyes.It also works great to hide any slight imperfections but does not work to hide any redness or acne scarring.I basically use this on top of my concealer to straighten up my eye bags and it works as a magic eraser and throws an instant brightness on my eyes but I only have light very light dark circles so I don't really know how it will work for really dark dark circles. When I want fuller lips/lift up my brows than its does a fantastic job without messing around but for major imperfection's this is not the product I'll reach.

Pro's
Provides Instant Brightness
Lifts Up Eye Brows
A Great Highlighter
Light Weight
Little Goes Long Way

Con's
Pricey
Does Not Cover Major Imperfection's

You can buy it from Myer's or online here.

Will I buy it again YES

Do you use any highlighter? Which one?

Lush Full Of Grace Face Serum

Serum is something I started using about 6 months ago when I spotted two light fine lines on my forehead I freaked out as soon as I saw those two lines and since than I went through 2 bottles of serums and a bottle of rose hip oil and of course the anti-ageing creams.I came to know about this serum when I was at lush few months back and saw this little guy looking at me and when I was reading the label "Full Of Grace Facial Serum" I thought I went blind for a second because my first impression was that it was a soap but no its a facial serum and I obviously had to get this unique serum.I have been using it for good 5 weeks and its still going on.

It looks like a soap does'nt it?

"Calm sensitive skin with our concoction of soothing tropical butters and mushrooms. Our Full of Grace serum bar is made with a concentrated blend of moisturising murumuru and cupuacu butters to hydrate skin, and rose oil to relieve irritations. We’ve also used portobello mushrooms for their plentiful vitamins and antioxidant property. The serum is easily absorbed by the skin, creating a soothing treatment for the face. Massage into the skin before you use a fresh face mask, or whenever you feel your skin needs a little grace"

Lush products are great and are not tested on animals which I really appreciate and love.I use this after using deep cleansing my face and how it works is that you rub it between your hands and it melts as you rub and than you just press it on to your skin. Its bit on oily and shiny side but at the same time is great to use at night time during the day I still use my liquid serum. It keeps my dehydrated face moisturised and by leaving it to work overnight. When you first rub it on to your hands it looks very very oily but it settles down into the skin after few minutes.I also use this before putting my mask on as a leave on treatment for about 20 minutes and than apply the face mask on and I have always been able to see an instant glow after using this with or even without using mask.

It's a long lasting product although it looks really small and has very rosy and has calamine smell.I have not been able to see any changes on my fine lines while using this serum but it definitely provides hydration and glow to my face.I highly recommend this solid serum if you just want to throw a treat to your dry face.

Price $14.95

Do you use this serum? What do you think of it?

Milani Illuminating Face Powder Review

A pan full of embedded roses called illuminating face powder is my first ever purchased from MILANI.I picked up Amber Nectar in shade 01 from Crush Cosmetics out of the 3 shades they had.

"An ultra-smooth blush, bronzer and/or highlighter gives skin a hint of color with a lit-from-within radiant healthy glow. It is suitable for all skin types and tones. Made in Italy"

I like the gold packaging of this compact its just so cute and especially the little flowers. As you can see it has a glass see through lid that can be easily opened by flipping up and down. It's travel friendly but does not come with a brush but who needs a brush when you have fingers tips I mean Clean ones.It also comes in

Beauty's Touch
Hermosa Rose

Now the Amber nectar gives very subtle glow for those days when my skin is deadly pale. The pan has five different non shimmery shades that can be used for highlighting,as a blusher or even bronzer you need to play around and see what works for you or not since some of the shades can be too dark.Amber  Nectar has some fantastic shades of Taupe,Bronze,White,Peach and Golden Bronze.

Overall I like this multi purpose face powder and would love to try Beauty's Touch too.

Price $15.95

You can purchase these from Crush Cosmetics.

**This is not a sponsored product.all opinions are my own.No affiliate links.

Elf Mineral Infused Face Primer

Since Elf products are easily available at k-mart I thought I will let you know what I think of this much affordable Face primer by Elf.

I actually bought 2 bottles from Crush Cosmetics of this gem before Elf reached Australia. This is the second bottle I'm using and let me tell you little about this bad boy...

"Transform your face into a flawless and smooth canvas with the Mineral Infused Face Primer. Developed to combat against excess oil, flaky dryness, enlarged pores and fine lines. This clear multipurpose skin primer will prepare your skin so makeup goes on evenly for a long lasting satin finish"

Packaging is nice and simple but you can't really see how much product is left inside despite of having a glass bottle that white cover blocks out everything and makes it harder to see through. It also has a little pump so you don't need to fiddle around too much.

This product is silicone based and is clear in colour. If you don't like silicone than I suggest to stay away from it.I had no breakouts from this product but my friend who is suffering from really bad acne ended up making her face much worse than it was while using this primer.I only use one pump and spread it over on face and it absorbs into my skin in no time and smooths out my face and makes my pores looks much smaller in size.It does give a clean and smooth surface to layer on my foundation and does not clog my pores at the same time.

It comes in Clear,Tone Adjusting Green,Brightening lavender and Radiant Glow.

Overall, I wont call this my holy grail primer however it's a great alternative at $12 and is easily available to Aussie's.

You can purchase it from k-mart or online here.

Do you use this primer? if not. What primer do you use?

Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation Review

Remember when Benefit had there "Mascara Swap" on I made a trip to swap my old mascara with "The Real" to the local Benefit Store.I only went to swap my mascara but apparently you could only swap it if you were happy to receive an eye prep, prime and perfect makeup service I thought this was a great opportunity to try out there products that I never used before.

Lovely Cindy at the benefit counter did my makeup that I absolutely adored. She first started taking my makeup off the one side of my face only and added only one layer of benefit's Hello Flawless to show me the difference between the foundation I already had it on and this one.I was completely stunned to see the difference So I ended up walking out not just with mascara but also with Foundation,Concealer,Bronzer and few other samples.

"Our Brightening makeup builds from light to medium coverage for a perfect natural complexion.Oxygen Wow hydration Complex helps to boost cellular respiration for a "Plumping Up" effect, helps to protect against environmental stresses, contains vitamin C & E derivatives known to prevent signs of ageing"

Cons
Pricey
Does not provide full coverage

My Verdict
I have it in "Warm me up" Toasted Beige shade and I honestly dont use this every single day due to having couple of other BB creams and Foundations in my storage but I do wear it on those days when I'm heading out for something special and my face needs some extra special services.

The formula is nice/soft and has the right consistency that I normally look in a foundation.I like to use it with my fingers and it blends in nicely with minimum effort.I have Dry skin and It definitely is non greasy for me and last for about good 6-7 hours without melting away.It sits perfectly on my skin giving me matte finish.

There are only 10 shades available in this product which I think is not enough at all.I strongly think that there should be more shades provided. Some of shades I tried are really pale and this is only shade that nearly matches my skin tone.

If you are looking for full coverage and have acne prone skin than you might want to try something else since this foundation only gives light to medium and natural coverage for every day wear.It does keep my face well moisturised and hydrated and add a little glow to my skin without a doubt. This foundation also has SPF 25 which is something I prefer.

I also suggest trying out a sample before you invest in it because it is bit pricey.Overall this is my high end foundation and I'm very happy with my investment and I love the way it makes my face look bright and hydrated.

Price $55

You can buy it from benefits's counter at Myer's or online here and here.
Do you use Hello Flawless? If not what foundation do u use?
